"I've started reading the house of leaves after someone compared me to it.
It's hard work!
"
The fact someone compared you to it is brilliant. I really enjoyed it - it's not an easy read though.
Currently reading Victory City by Rushdie - it's that sweeping epic fantasy blend of history and mythos I adore. |

Nearer than you think |
Recently finished "Bones and All" (DeAngelis) which was surprising and intriguing.
Now on "Shackleton" (Feinnes). I don't usually go for non-fiction, but I'm fascinated by this story. |

How are you finding Victory City? I have it on the shelf to be read. I’ve enjoyed most of Rushdie’s stories, and especially like his sweeping epic fantasy blend of history and mythos Although I also loved The Golden House recently too. |

If you loved that try Dracul by Dacre Stoker, it's inspired by the notes Bram Stoker left behind. "
Will have to check that out. |

Have you seen the 2 films at the cinema? I’m spoiled with spin off inspired by the original.

I just finished reading Sharpe's Rifles by Bernard Cornwell. I'm slowly working my way through his books. I love learning the history. Plus it's always interesting to see if he sleeps with the ladies before they die or run off with his money
I've also always got a poetry book by the bed, as sometimes the mood takes me to read some. |
