Read between the lines there and he has already had the nod for the United job. Fergie will have gone by then. United won't want him going to Chelsea, and certainly not City, so they'll have gauranteed him Fergie's job in three years time.
He's kept himself out of the Premier League by not signing for one of United's main rivals and kept himself in the fram for when Fergie retires. Smart move. |

"Thats a great move for him.. and a real test as unlike Barce he isnt inheriting a team full of stars.
Hope he does a blinding job there as he seems like a totally decent guy."
Bayern have a good youth policy which will suit him. Good like to him, seems like a nice fella |

Still think mourinho is nailed on for united, only man big enough to take on the biggest management job out there really! (Stoke fan by the way) |

No chance. Mourinho is not United material. Look what happens when anyone thinks they are bigger than the club - Fergie has offloaded them. Mourinho's ego will keep him out of Old Trafford unless he takes a team there to play them. |

"Dont think hes right for the chelsea job (season ticet holder) we want jose back"
Now Pep is out of Chelsea's reach, and it's clear Benitez is not Abramovic's preferred cgoice of manager, it may be that a move for Mourinho is on the cards. His only other choice in England is Man City and Chelsea won't want Mourinho at City and Guardiola at United. That would be disastrous for Chelsea. |

True for players but fertgie has the biggest ego, needs a huge ego and personality to keep the status quo! Also united have a few older players, mourinho is master of bringing in young guys and building a strong team for the future, look at Chelsea 10 years on mourinho s team is finally going |

this thread really made me laugh,is it any wonder, other nationalities see the english as arrogant.
bayern munich are one of the most successful clubs in europe, playing in one of the most successful leagues in the world.with an international team england would die for.
yet this thread has reduced them,to some kind of feeder club, preparing a manager, until such times as an english suitor comes calling.
no offence, but ffs get over yourselves, there are times it seems, the conceit of the english, knows no bounds. |

No, it's more to do with Pep Guardiola saying YESTERDAY that he wants to manage in the Premier League 'one day'. It's got nothing to do with arrogance, he wants a PL job and he knows Fergie will step down in 2-3 years time. Bayern offer him a 3-year deal, and he knows he can win things with them, but he *wants* a PL spot at some point. |

"Chelsea gave up the ability cherry pick managers the day they sacked Carlo Ancelotti."
It's for that reason I believe Pep won't go to Chelsea. He doesn't need the grief. |

of course he wants to manage in the premier league one day,he said it many times before yesterday, but to reduce bayern munich,to a feeder club,is complete arrogance.
pep guardiola will move at a time that suits him.not on the whim of some premier league club,at the drop of a hat.
ps and wishy,never forget,i'm the man. |
