The National Lottery is rising from £1 to £2 the prize for 3 numbers will rise also!

That's inflation for you, hope they don't have to call in the receivers!!

If Camalot think the dangling a carrot of £25 for 3 numbers,,,,,is going to increase sales of tickets at £2 a go,,,,,

I think they've got it wrong,,,,,

Don't forget the Lottery is also a big cash cow tax take for the government...

This means the government has just potentially doubled their tax income from the Lottery.

Makes you wonder if Camelot has had their shirt tails tugged by Georgy Boy

It might backfire…… Becuase some people might stop buying tickets altogether...

After 18 years of playing the lottery most people realise the odds of winning anything are pretty poor so asking people to pay twice the price for the same odds for what is a minuscule rise in the smaller prize monies is crazy at a time when many people are already hard pushed financially…….!.

Apparently it doesn't start until autumn.... maybe they'll have a change of heart....

As long as the same percentage or more is paid out in prizes I have no worries with the cost of the ticket. I would like to know if this is the case.
