Do you ever feel like it’s one of those days where everything is just abit ‘meh’

How do you pick yourself back up?

I do yes...as for picking myself up. Don't really do anything except dust myself down and get on with it.

Hugs OP...if you're having one of those days.

It's just one of those days

Where you don't want to wake up

Everything is fucked

Everybody sucks

You don't really know why

But you want to justify

Rippin' someone's head off.

Big squishy hugs.

I go for a walk or a bike ride in as much nature as possible. Big parks, countryside. It resets me

A few things that works for me

If it’s a gym night good way to work out the stress

Playing with the dog always cheers me up puts in good mood

Skipping planned tea and getting favourite takeaway

Chill in bath with radio on

Hope you are OK OP

Just remember it is 'one of those days' a day, 24 hours, tomorrow is a new day. And the day prior long gone.

If I have an 'umpty day' I just keep telling myself there is always rain before a sunshine, there will always be new days

A few things:

1) organise a few activities/fun things to do with people I like. Having something to look forward to perks me up.

2) baking. Give some of what I've made to friends and neighbours.

3) get outside. Fresh air works wonders.

I’ve been like that for the last 2 weeks. It’s horrible.

Need to get back to work- over there I am jittery with extreme stress but I prefer it! I am happier and more productive!

Last couple of weeks or so have been a bit meh. My small people have been unwell. I can't complain as they are the ones feeling worse. One is better the other has been hit quite harshly. I just want to help and feel a bit useless when its not having the desired effect.

Hey OP, hope today is feeling brighter for you

If I’m having a bad day, things that always make me feel better are: getting a walk in the fresh air (especially if it’s sunny), cuddles or playing with the dog, listening to music, taking the time to make something nice to eat (feeling like your doing something good for your body), doing something nice for someone else (even if it’s just giving a compliment). If all else fails, hot bath early night and knowing that tomorrow will be a better day

Hey, Thankyou so much.

Having a much better day, booked a holiday as just realised I’ve not had a holiday since last July. Sometimes work overrides life.. I’ve been focused on getting tattooed more than anything else haha

A walk in the fresh air can work wonders and give you a bit of headspace to get back on track.

I do agree that there’s always going to be someone worse off and it always helps to count your blessings, but that doesn’t mean your feelings or low mood aren’t valid OP A comparison I sometimes use is that it would be seen as worse to lose a leg than a foot, but that doesn’t meant the person only losing a foot can’t be sad about it. It’s important to acknowledge your down days and don’t dismiss how you might be feeling in that moment
