Unfortunately theres only one cookie.. I have a tie breaker.. ..
Here it is:..
Alexander is stranded on an island covered in forest.One day, when the wind is blowing from the west, lightning strikes the west end of the island and sets fire to the forest. The fire is very violent, burning everything in its path, and without intervention the fire will burn the whole island, killing the man in the process.There are cliffs around the island, so he cannot jump off.How can the Alexander survive the fire? (There are no buckets or any other means to put out the fire) |

Goes to the eastern part ofthe island with a branch/ wood which he has set on fire from original fire. With the wind blowing west he sets a fire there, fire burns the area to the edge of the island before original fire catches up. Once it's burned out he can shelter there knowing that his area he set has already burnt out and cannot catch fire again .

My other answer was going to be dig a large hole in the ground and bury yourself under the ground as fire wouldn't reach you but there would be a good chance u would suffocate to death. |
