My son's godfather called the other day to say his friend had won some VIP tickets to see Manchester United's Champions League football match tonight.

My son is only 12 ... so please no abuse about I'd rather poke pins in my eyes than go to see United bla de bla!!

He went into the hospitality lounge with his Dad, had a lovely meal, saw Ole (but didn't manage to speak to him ), he shook hands with Ryan Giggs and even managed to win a team signed shirt for predicting the correct score at half time (as no nobody predicted the full time score).

All I can say is that he came home with the biggest smile on his face. It was wonderful to hear all the details.

Now the top is far too big for him ... ebay??

Hun if your son is a United fan stick the shirt in a frame and hang it on his wall as a reminder of a fun day.

Thats what I would do for my kids if they had something that really cheered them up.

Absolutely ... frame it is!! Would never sell it! I'm amazed! He was soooo excited especially when he told me "I" had won it as you had to be 18 to enter! Apparently when "my" name was called ... I'd gone to pick up the car!!

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

"no way eay - frame it for him for Christmas so he can keep forever and it can make him smile every now and then as he remembers such a fab day!!!"

Agreed - a couple of hundred quid off ebay or a permanent reminder of such a happy time?

Are you seriously asking? Plus, he can sell it for more when one of the players dies
