Tin town

Just seen a video of french protestors building a wall of concrete blocks across the new unpopular A69 motorway/ autoroute. Concrete, wheel barrows, songs and all... Love the french!

The French president and his government need not have been granted decree powers under 49-3 in the French constitution if the French people haven't proven themselves absolutely unruly to any new government policy they don't like and ungovernable to the extreme.

That's the flip side of "being good at protesting". And by that I mean "good at physical protesting and obstructionism". It gives perfect ammunition for the ruling elites to resort to authoritarianism.

Long live the revolution.

It's all fine and dandy when it's the French but not so great when two men hang their hammocks on the QE2 bridge

No excuse for shoddy work! Even if it is a wall on a road!
