I missed out on the last thread, but which would you ladies rather salivate over:

A man in a good quality short-sleeved button shirt or a man in a good button shirt with the sleeves rolled up?

Subtle difference, I know, but details are important…

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

Short sleeves are for t-shirts and polo shirts.

Shirts should always have long sleeves. There is no rhyme or reason, because it makes no sense. Especially as the rolled up sleeve is king.

But long sleeved. Thank you.

I'm now recalling last night's thread and I need a lie down.

I am very much influenced by last night but a man wearing a long sleeved crisp white shirt, dark jeans and a blazer is just...

There's no such thing as a good quality short sleeved shirt - unless you're 75 and shop in M&S.

Also, shirts tucked in = no.

Shirts should be long sleeved with the sleeves rolled up, and not tucked in under any circumstances. Unless you're my Dad.

I’m also rather partial to a good quality pocket square,

On one of my adventures I once replaced it with a piece of ladies lingerie and sat through a whole dinner, then at the end my companion

Realised what it was…removed it and decided she wanted to see how she looked it in

I think there’s a parallel with a long-haired woman pinning her hair back. A sort of deliberate ‘I’m going to take something seriously now’ moment.

Speaking of which, there’s an idea for a future thread. Post 10-second videos tying your hair up. The more nonchalant the better. Grabbing a pen from the desk and pinning your hair back with it? Hot. As. Hell.

"I'm the opposite to most on this thread, i hate to see long sleeved shirts with their sleeves rolled up, dreadful look.

I do like casual short sleeved shirts.

But i prefer t shirts anyway and love football shirts aslong as it's the team i support.

It was going well until you mentioned football…

Your new pic is brilliant OP. If it had been on last night's thread we would've swooned!

I drive a van so I would crash it a lot if I did this ?????? what about if I charge in to a burning building to save some kids? And then start tearing off my sleeves to wrap around there wounds like a bandage?

"Long sleeves rolled up definitely.

I am very much influenced by last night but a man wearing a long sleeved crisp white shirt, dark jeans and a blazer is just...

Removing that blazer and rolling the sleeves up?

Oh yes, my type completely

So fucking hot."
