It's probably best to consider this site as a link to other ways to meet people. For example, to find out when arranged social meets are happening, or when clubs are holding nights which are suitable for single guys.
Once you've attended a few of those, use this site for reason above AND for staying in contact with those you meet at the events.
Trying to use the site to meet others individually is going to be tough. Some guys have been on here for years and not managed that. |

Also I would advise you not to start forum threads asking for advice because this often leads to piss taking and unkind replies from some members... |

Well done on being brave and posting. The Lounge forum is a place for general chat. You'll find Swingers Chat, Meets & Events and all sorts of other fora further down the page (don't recommend the Virus one, they take everything a bit seriously).
Join in with a few threads and get to know people. The site is a great way to waste time but I don't think it's a waste of time. But yes, as a single man you are one of many horny dudes so the site isn't for everyone.

Welcome to Fab by the way. You've took a good step by posting in the forums. Another good idea is to go to social events where you can meet swingers and mingle and chat. You'll learn about the lifestyle and perhaps make connections with people who may then want to take things further. Relying solely on this site to meet people can be hard work. |

The site is far from a waste of time, but many guys come on here and expect to be knee deep in ladies before the week is out.
By "expect nothing" I would mean, don't feel entitled, don't expect someone to reply just because they've messaged you, don't expect dozens of messages begging to meet. There are a hundred times more men on here than women, so the law of averages is always against the single guy.
On the other hand, a good profile with nice photos and well written messages directed at those whom you know might be interested because you've read their profile, are a good foundation for a successful FAB Life.
The forums are great too, there are loads of laughs & more meaningful conversations happening here every day.

OP welcome along, it’s a good place to be honest and you will learn more about yourself than you will about others so it’s a worthwhile venture….
The are rules
1) be nice….. the assholes get ‘found out’ the forum is moderated to stop you being an asshole but if you aren’t a good boy you will get told off by a lot of people, they are the good
2) expect nothing, no one owes you anything on here, you could be hung like a horse (some are) and amazing in bed (some are) doesn’t mean you will get one message
3) you are here for a long time not a good time…. This philosophy might sound arse about face but in your time here if you listen and play nice you will learn a lot about yourself, hone your profile, take better photos, give better responses, and to this end it’s not just about interaction on fab, it’s a life lesson too
4) more important than all that enjoy it, put some effort in and you will be rewarded, there’s decent people in here l, yeah there’s the odd idiot (hi, waves) but the good bunch will look after you
