Try and keep this to the point,if we give all the people on strike what they want how much are you prepared to have taken from your wages in taxes to pay for it

Just don’t spunk money away on dodgy contracts and we could afford to pay them.

I no longer earn but I would be happy to see an increase of 1p in the pound on the tax I do pay. On condition that other inequalities were addressed and a tax 'loopholes' closed

As much as needed. I don't want the people saving my life and teaching my kids leaving in droves because they would earn more elsewhere.

With UK having the pound, the so called "there is no money" argument is moot!

What winds me up iw, Lizzy trying to rewrite history!

It seems like there is no money for public sector workers as long as Cons are in power. Labour and pretty useless. We need a new party/revolution.

I already pay boat load of tax and would not mind a bit more but we need to clamp down on rich getting away with paying tax less than an average Joe Public.

The same amount that they put the tax up by, a higher wage inevitably means you pay more tax.

It's just a thought, but the money could come from company profits, or reducing the millions of pounds in bonuses for CEOs.

Businesses should make profits from their goods and services, not the exploitation of it's workers.
