So, I tried this, I got a tattoo machine and some pig skin and off I went
Then I found it went straight through to the table underneath and I had absolutely no idea until finished
Please op, please use a shop where they’re professionals, it’s worth the price to be safer and honestly it’s a difficult skill to master

I've always worked on the basis that if you can walk in somewhere off the street and be seen instantly then that artist isn't one to use.
Sure. There may be the odd rare day someone cancels last minute, but generally anyone with skill and a good reputation will be booked up months in advance.
I generally book in a new full day appt every time I have work done and I've yet to get back in any quicker than 6 months later at the soonest.

That’s pretty much my opinion on it. My artist is booked until the end of the year although I keep an eye on his socials for cancellations. |

Shame I’m not closer. My daughter tattoos at home if required.
She actually started tattooing at 15 (trained by a family friend in his proper tattoo studio ).
She’s done 90% of mine including my neck and head (heads covered)
