Sorry, bit of a click bait title.
I recently completed a project that I have been working on for fun for a while now. I had the usual elation and desire to bore anyone listening. Then I have a hint of a void as part of the fun of having a project is the anticipation.
Do you enjoy having a project on the go and do you like to finish them? |

Oh it's not clickbait.
Love a project. Don't get me wrong, I might moan about early starts a bit but truth be told I come alive - I really enjoy that pressure, the thrill of doing something successfully.
And yes, I guess a small part of me doesn't like when it's complete. I feel a bit weird after. And sleep a lot. |

I’m with you on this, OP.
If I don’t have something to work on in my private life I get fidgety and bored. Whether that’s buying a house, car, bike, new trainers - whatever - or maybe a new job, I need that process to keep me interested.
I like finishing things but then I hate it when I’ve finished something! That’s when I start looking for something else. |

I was a furniture restorer for few years so have always got at least one project on the go. Recently rescued pair of chairs and a small hall table that were destined for a skip. Stripped them made any repairs and repolished look good as new. |

Not so much a project but definitely missing having a cause.
Recently changed jobs and the direct impact part of my work has gone and I'm actually quite sad about it. |
