The dot in the i

I find them comfortable, I’m not a heels person or even a shoe person really, if they get me out and home with dry non aching feet that’s all I need them to do.

If I have to choose between fashion or comfort, I’m choosing comfort 100% of the time and I don’t care what others decide I should wear, they’re my feet lol

I am a trainer wearer. Always have been. I worked in retail for years wearing smart shoes with heels and that ruined my feet. Trainers are so comfortable. I can only wear kitten heels if I go out and even then I can't stand up.

Trainers for the win.

Sorry not sorry OP

Trainers are amazing. Comfort and stylish (obviously depending on the design). Love the old retro ones at the moment.

I mostly only i wear Vans or Converse , i found they can be very fashionable compared to other trainers and in some occasions more fashionable than proper fashion shoes .

Short dress and stilettos can perfectly be matched by a miniskirt & vans or converse

I more or less gave up on heels over lockdown and since then it’s mostly trainers. Useful to have something I can run if I need to. And frankly being comfortable outweighs making a statement.

I don’t mind them on men but I’ve only ever worn them at the gym. I wouldn’t even think of wearing them for anything other than that.

With you on Vans etc that style can look good, but trainers, some of them cost hundreds and IMO don't look good.

Trainers definitely have their place in my wardrobe. My choice of footwear is definitely influenced by outfit, activity and location...I wouldn't wear stiletto heels to go for a walk in the countryside, and conversely I wouldn't wear trainers to go to a nice restaurant.

I love and live in trainers when not working…

It is sandals what I find absolutely minging. Especially flip flops when there is no beach or pool around for miles…

I love my trainers, converse etc. I also love flat boots, recently got a great pair of Fly boots. Everything has to be comfortable for me, and i do love the look of all of them too.

I can't stand shoes with heels, i don't like how they feel or look, i also don't like stockings/hold ups (that are often worn with heels) either. It's just not a look that i like

Depends what style/designer. I wouldn't be seen dead in anything like Nike, Adidas, Reebok etc

But cant beat a crisp white pair of trainers IMO

People who are saying trainers are more comfortable than shoes are clearly buying the wrong shoes.

I wear the appropriate footwear for the circumstance I am in.

Work boots for work, this will be wellington’s or ankle boots.

Trainers for sporting pursuits

Best shoes for going out,

Slippers for around the house.

They aren't something I wear, but I can appreciate a pair of Adidas originals with gum soles.

Not that they're the footwear of choice for my present crush. Not at all, merely coincidence.

I never found anyone wearing Vans or Converse that didn't look good. I agree some trainers they cost more than my life i don't like trainers at all apart from the Nike 270 that i may buy them but jut for work nothing else

I hate wearing trainers, they are just to soft for me, even at school I was wearing steel toe capped high top boots (not as a fashion statement), wore them for years but more recently I have been wearing trainer type ones but they have the harder sole and tougher materials in general
