Going to visit my son and his partner in their lovely new house tomorrow afternoon /evening.

Kids party - I used to hate them. Now I can sit in the corner and drink hot chocolate whilst reading a book, the kids will find me if they need me.
I need to tidy and clean the house. I want to have a bit of a declutter too. Namely sifting through all the kids stuff that ends up on the dining table. Paper, pens, pencils, stamps, ink, bath bømb making kits.
Also want to finish the book I'm reading. I have about 200 pages left

Bought a pressure washer so me and my eldest are going to get absolutely soaked but we will have a laugh. I want to finish my geology book because that's my newest obsession. And I have to take my youngest to football. And I need to plan my weekend away to north Wales next weekend. |

My weekend started last night with a works do with a free bar! I’m off out for drink and food with a gorgeous fab friend tonight for a long awaited night out for which I’m super excited for. Then the rest of the weekend will be family time and hairdressers tomorrow.

I played in them for about 10 years and never used plugs  definitely suffering for it nowadays. Seems it’s starts at 1pm till midnight! My poor leggies will be knackered standing all that time |

This weekend signals the penultimate weekend of me playing/managing football on a Saturday afternoon. The girls are becoming bored of coming along and it's about time we didn't more interesting things on a Saturday as a quartet.
Sunday friends are round with thier kids and I'm cooking a rack of lamb with all the trimmings and them some extras. |

So this weekend? I'm going to a social during the day which I'm very excited about. And then I have other plans (which involve Italian food so I'm really excited).

Today I am too tired to do anything. It's barely 8.30pm and I've already shooed the dogs outside for the prebedtime wee and lifted the disabled one onto the people bed to join me for cuddles. Some serious rest is needed.
Tomorrow I'm looking forward to going to Taboo at Play and wearing my silly sparkly tiara throughout.
Sunday I'm probably just going to chill. I usually prefer to do more things and less chilling, but work is killing me lately and until things settle down a bit I need to rest more than I'd like. |

Bizarrely, my deeply spice-averse two year old has been asking for a curry for several days, so I'm taking her out to split a korma and a peshwari naan with her. I'm improbably excited about this turn of events

I have a gig tomorrow and shopping/lunch day out on Sunday. It's been a fucker of a week though and, to be honest, I'd kill to just spend the weekend lying in bed!! |
