I worked in a couple of pretty hostile places so there were more arguments and people not really liking each other than anyone getting off. Policies of dismissal if found having relations, even chatting to someone from another section meant gossip and rumour that brought manager attention. Utterly divided and ugly places to work. |

Yes I worked for a very very wealthy person with 300 maids (all female) and about 20 maintenance men on an english estate you can imagine....

In this day and age, it is simply not worth it!
The consequences of a night where boundaries maybe inadvertently overstepped , fuelled by alcohol are now severe.
I have seen and am aware of folk being disciplined and sacked for ‘inappropriate’ behaviour … as females now have a degree of freedom to call out behaviour which previously would have been brushed aside as being ‘just the Christmas do’.
