I live in my shorts, except when I’m the shower or bed. Wearing them for my job just makes things more comfortable. I’m self employed so don’t have to dress for anyone |

What is it with these women wearing skirts and dresses all year round, they need to get into a fluffy onsie for heaven's sake.
It's just handy to wear shorts. Your torso is where you want to keep your core temp up in any way. You can wear trainers with shorts and not look like Jeremy Clarkson. You don't get your hems wet. If it's raining you legs are more waterproof than jeans. |

Provided your top half is covered up adequately for the outside temperature, what you wear on your legs, whether it be trousers or shorts, is irrelevant. I often wear shorts with hoodie, body warmer and bobble hat, never in my life have I thought 'ooooh, my legs are cold'. |

It’s purely a comfort thing for me.
I cope best when the temperatures are low, shorts are on for 11 months of the year, plus I have thick thighs and short legs, you don’t get trousers that fit comfortably |
