Have you ever picked up something truly weird or naff on holiday?
I think my oddest thing is a single clothes peg I bought in Denmark. We were trying to use up the last of the money before we left. It's a lovely purple one, and very good quality. Probably more expensive than all my other clothes pegs combined.
But this is nothing compared to my husband. He came back from a teenage school trip to Lourdes with a 5 litre bottle of holy water. When he moved in with me his dad was very happy to pass it on to us. It lives in the back of a cupboard. I'm not allowed to get rid of it, despite us both being atheists. When I asked why he didn't get a smaller bottle, he said he liked to get his money's worth
At least we're prepared in case of vampires
How about you? |

At my last employer we used to have a tatt shelf
When we went away, we had to bring back a piece of tatt that cost under £5
Over the year they built up a collection on the shelf
At the end of the year, the MD had to choose the "winner" (i.e. the worst)
He gave them a small gift from the company as a prize
Then we used to raffle the tatt off (internally) and donate the proceeds to a local charity
It only ever raised a few quid a year, but it was kinda fun |

I love tacky gifts
I bought my parents a fridge magnet of the back of a cat - the legs and bum with the tail in the air. My mum loves it |

Son brought me back a piece of the Berlin Wall when he went over to Germany, it literally is just a lump of concrete with graffiti still visible, I think it is in a random cupboard now |

I got given a huge.....like 10", cigar in a wooden box, years ago by a girlfriend after her holiday to Tenerife. Tried smoking it, it was absolute crap.
Found out later that she'd gone on holiday with another bloke!
Should have stuffed it up her a**e instead of trying to smoke it! |

"A waitress in a restaurant in Nimes gave me her knickers as a souvenir after we fucked in the alley at the back. That was 42 years ago and they’re in my shed!"
If that was me, I'd be delighted that the man still had them after all that time |

"A warthog skull. I kept it in a bucket of formaldehyde for a week or so to get the remaining 'juicy' bits off."
Do you still have it? What does one do with a warthog skull? I suppose it would make a handy Halloween decoration |

No I just had it on a wall but that was when I lived abroad, I couldn't really bring it back so I donated it to the Science department in my school there. I had a few of various animals - they now have quite a modest collection!

I found a well bleached rams skull when walking in the Yorkshire dales, in the back garden now |

"When we went to Prague a few years ago we came back with a set of Russian dolls as Crystal Palace players. None of them looked remotely like the players they were supposed to be!"
Do they have pride of place somewhere, or are they hidden in a cupboard now? |

They are on our living room dresser. We occasionally get them all out when fellow Palace supporters come round and we get them to guess who the players are. They are almost always wrong! |
