In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

I love B&Q. Really love it. If anyone took me on a date there I'd be in heaven

It's a rip off nearly 10 quid for a pack of screws bought identical else where for less than 2 pound

We are talking about the hardware store or some abbreviation I m not familiar with

As fans, I don’t need to tell you ( but I will) that B&Q are owned by Kingfisher who also own Screwfix.

This shouldn’t affect your enjoyment of visiting B&Q but might add a certain piquancy if you didn’t already know.

Tool station are much better than screwfix I find.

That should not take away from anyone’s b&q experience though

Screw fix is cheaper... but less visually pleasing. Plus they don’t have free wallpaper samples

Wickes also offer a different kind of experience and are actually good providers of mid-range kitchens if anyone is looking to renovate or update their kitchen.

I do like Screwfix, but mainly because of the name

We had a proper old fashioned hardware shop near our old house, but I couldn't wheelchair around it because there was too much stuff in the aisles. I sat at the door and asked the dude to bring me things

Block & Quayle, apparently!

I think Mr Marks and Mr Spencer had a better initials-based shop naming thang going on, to be honest.

I've needed B&Q for some of this recently, but I'll also put a vote in for The Paint Shed online. Excellent prices and rapid delivery

Yes B&Q is over priced, I prefer Wickes but they often don't have the same range of goods
