When I lived and worked in Minehead getting there was difficult enough. Never mind flying across the ocean and then finding their way. |

Got a message from a couple a few years ago asking to meet the following day. I drew their attention to where it says on my profile that I only meet for a social after chatting for a while.
They apologised and said they would be happy to buy me a coffee.
They seemed confused when I then asked who was paying for the flight tickets?
What flight tickets? they asked.
The ones I'll need to get to the US by tomorrow.
Obviously didn't realise that Belfast exists outside of Maine. |

Depending on where they are on the East coast will mean a lot of profiles in Scotland Wales and England will show up in search results.
If I set my search filter to anything more than 50 or 60 miles most of the results are in parts of Scotland and around Liverpool or Manchester. |

If I set my search filter to anything more than 50 or 60 miles most of the results are in parts of Scotland and around Liverpool or Manchester. "

I get messages from the USA... it's no weirder than those messaging from a couple hundred or more miles away in my mind though. |

Ooohhhh. It was explained to me why I shouldn’t throw the word Yank around when referring to an American. (Google it if you want to know. )
Your lucky op, I’d love a sweet southern woman to slip into my coffee shop, looking for somewhere to sit, we share a chat together I find out she’s from Virginia and she ends up in my bed that evening….
