No new winks, no new fabs.

I have once or twice seen screenshots from Fab friends who are women. Mountains of yellow, hundreds of unseen Fabs, winks, etc...it's like a different world. As busy and frantic as a Japanese pinball parlour.
My own Fab experience is far more soothing. A Trappist monk would find it unusually peaceful. 
Though, like you, I am lucky enough to get some beautiful messages from beautiful people. |

I couldnt cope with it if it was mental like that, I love being fabbed, winked and messaged but if it was all consuming I would hate it |

And to add to this, is it a man thing. For us women who are looking for women it’s no different than it is for men who are looking for women. Maybe twice a year if that I’ll get a message from a woman  |

I’d like to take this opportunity to point out that Mr Pink is in fact a genuinely nice bloke with actual social skills and everything, despite these protestations to the contrary.
So I’m barring him from membership of his own Billy No-mates club on the grounds that he’s actually a good guy to have a couple pints with. |

Three months since I last got a message, four months since I last got a wink, and no idea how long it’s been since my last Fab.
Two people viewed my profile yesterday though, so that’s quite exciting!
I really do think it’s a case of the grass being greener on the other side. Men can’t appreciate the absolute deluge of shit women face, and women rarely understand just how grinding prolonged lack of interest can be.

I go through these quiet periods where everyone I’ve been talking to privately has graduated to WhatsApp or something instead. So that keeps pinging instead of me getting that yellow message box on Fab. It’s a little more … insistent, shall we say. |

I have no new fabs because I have turned them off - it stops me fretting about whether I get them, how many, which pics etc.
When I get a wink I always look at the profile to see if I’m interested, but it’s rare that I am. So getting no winks is really not a thing for me.
This year I have had some wonderful messages from some wonderful people. They’re pretty much all from forumites and I like that. It means I’m interacting with people in whose lives and thoughts I’m interested.
I’ve pretty much ceased all proactive searching and messaging. I’ve found my equilibrium on Fab and I’m very happy. It can be an unsettling place until one finds that (I believe).
It’s been months since my last fab meet, but I’ve stopped using that as a metric for success.
I shan’t be joining the ‘no new’ club, Fiddles. But I wish you all the best in it

I’ve had a few fabs though I don’t know who from.
I followed up the only wink I’ve had from a lady who said she wanted to chat but I get no more that two word answers to my messages.
Forum games are good though. |

I average less than one message a month and often go 2 or 3 months without a single message.
I can't remember the last time I've had double figure fabs on a new pic. The vast majority get 4 or 5 at most so luckily I don't post them for fabs.
I have a very small circle of fab friends, probably less than 10, and half of those have never once fabbed any of my pics.
I'm not particularly prolific on the forums and therefore not well known.
I've mentioned before about experimenting on a fabathon thread once where I fabbed and winked every single woman and couple on the thread that filters allowed and didn't get one fab or wink in return which proved that many people join those threads with no intention of actually taking part and just want to be on the receiving end.
