They used to say life begins at 40......noticed a lot of friends and associates who are into their 50s finally doing things they always wanted to do. What do you think?

I think when your life starts depends on when you had your kids lol

If you had children later in life you will be older when they fly the nest so older when you get your life back

and lets be honest everythjng we do on here revolves around our children, i have another 10 years to go yet till my youngest is 18, so thats another 10 years of planning meets round her and putting her first, guess then its my time

er...guess

55 has been brilliant. I have a couple of days left.

Despite a few health setbacks I've had the chance to get in involved in stuff I've wanted to for years.

It's not all about galloping across mainland Europe in a convertible en route to Cap D'agde. Sometimes just having the time and finances to know you've been able to make a modest difference to the local community is enough.

We don't really pay to much attention to someone's age, as long as they've got a bit of go in em that's all the matters

I'm 44 and got an 8 month old son.... and a 12y/o daughter ... will I be swinging when my boy is 18? Yes, if 2 things come to pass...

1) if I'm still alive

2) if I can still get it up

If only no.1 comes to pass then I'll be REALLY pissed off... if neither 1) nor 2) happens.... then heaven is in for a fookin horny old time and first stop is Grace Kelly, my all time dream woman!

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

I was rather hoping that 40 would be the new 21!
