I love watching and rewatching his TV shows.

Now I'm not one to love a guys voice but hell, his voice melts my heart and send me into a relaxed state of mind!

Thank you David!

Anyone else have this opinion?

It will most definitely be a sad day for us all... He's 96 years old! What an incredible human being. He's such an Icon and inspiration for my outdoor nature photography!

I loved his documentaries in the 70s about isolated tribes.

I have to say I'm not so keen now.

I'll never forget the episode where he was required to be naked to enter one of the tribespeoples huts, the site of his naked bottom will never leave me

Even then he had some authority and respect so appearing naked on telly was quite a surprise

The different type of animals and insects that live around us and where to find them mainly, life isn't just your local area as he shows you!

The landscape is beautiful if you look past all the trash people leave behind also!

He does have a soft gentle voice, i listen intently and watch dvd's many times over. I learn so much from him and his wonderful programs. I wish some of my teachers way back had equally soothing voices. I might have learn't maths and history so much easier.

Yoi're absolutely right there! I'd either be sleeping, dreaming of his voice and learning at the same time and keeping my full attention to him and getting straigh A's!
