Do you zoom in to the background of people's pictures?
I can't be the only one who's guilty of checking out people decor and mess
Are you a judger of people's decor, and tidyness?

I do it all the time. Can't help it.
Not sure what the craziest thing is.
Maybe the guy leaning over his car bonnet holding his pet tortoise on it was a bit crazy. But not sure that counts as background. |

Yes absolutely!
I will totally judge someone on messy backgrounds!
You can often tell by the docor if they are really single! Things like toothbrushes in the pot or shampoo when taken in the bathroom!

Yes many of times I’ve seen things in peoples backgrounds that put me straight off, dirty laundry all over the floor, full ashtrays, old food trays, glasses, plates and used cutlery, pics of their kids in backgrounds.  |

Yes I am. Not always but occasionally.
Whenever I receive an introductory message from a woman, I sometimes look for obscure details and clues from her profile photos. It's a useful method to learn more about that person and send a bespoke reply based on what I've gleaned from those photos. |

So glad its not just me.
Yep, i zoom in on the background and surroundings.
But nothing to do with interior design, or being nosey.
Im actually looking at tidiness and cleanliness.
If they live in somewhere that looks messy or dirty, its an instant block. |

I look at the background before checking out the foreground.
Once saw a vermin bait box under someone's bedside table. The image we were supposed to look at was of a woman's sexy pair of legs in heels, sat on the bed.
I'd keep my shoes on too if there's mouse/rat droppings on the floor and a horde of scurrying feet.

I'm a total zoomer.
I check out all kinds of stuff in pictures, how much washing up there is in the background (or laundry), family pictures, pets, toilets, female accessories or bathing equipment, odd socks beano style scattered around....
I have a weird fascination to do with why people don't crop this stuff out. |

Not really, I get some can be a bit messy. But tidiness and hygiene can be different.
Probably there for hook ups not moving in.
As long as there’s not an open toilet seat with skids everywhere, that’s my red flag. |

Off the back of this thread I just had a look through our pics in a sudden panic that I may have left a pile of washing in view... It seems not and I admit the backgrounds are a little boring! So from now on if I remember, I'm going to strategically place random items in the background, like a find the item game, in future photos

I once on an old profile was chatting to someone,,,, they sent me a pic,,, and in the background I could see what looked like a dog turd on the kitchen floor ,,,,needless to say the convo didn't go much further  |

I do have a good scrutinise of their public pics, not only to gauge how recent the pics were taken, but yes, the backgrounds can speak volumes  |

Oh, I like to have a good snoop around the photo.It tells you a lot about the person. I saw some ugly things on in the background before.
Saying that, if someone looks at my bathroom snaps, they might think I'm quite disorganised but at least everything is clean. Have nothing to hide |

Got a Fordson Dexta, Nuffield, Massey Harris 744pd, John Deere model D, John Deere model H, Massey Ferguson 35 and an old JCB.
I get people judging backgrounds, but what if the bathroom is taken at a Blackpool B&B? I've stayed in a few B&B's that I wouldn't go back to again. |

Not sure its the craziest thing lol but about 8 years ago on another site, I was looking at a couples profile pictures. They had a few of their own private swinging parties in their home. All face were blurred as expected but being the perve I am lol I was zooming in to see umm more lol. I noticed and recognised a Picture on there wall. I took a closer look and of the surrounding and realised it was work colleagues place. Been to there's a few times of drinks....
Never mentioned it to them but now knew what they used to get up to on the weekends. |
