Okehampton

Use a spray, it’s easier.

I’ve done this, I’m afraid you have to awkwardly ask someone without sounding creepy!

There's usually someone around who is very helpful. A young cop did a lot for me recently

You spread it on the sun lounger then lie on it.

One of those paint rollers on a long stick that you use for ceilings

You can also get a pad with a long handle. Put the lotion on the pad and away you go. Though asking a stranger could be more fun. See how fast the sun beds around you clear

Just accept that there will be a rather odd looking sunburn patch from the bit you can't reach yourself.

It'll be like a signal to everyone who sees you that you are single AF!

(Talking from experience!)

Carlisle usually

Look for another singleton who is sitting somewhere with a little space behind them and who looks like their back is not sufficiently protected from the harmful sun.

Pour the majority of the bottle down your back, then back up and rub into the chosen fellow singleton, smush in and shoulder shimmy until all needed places feel sufficiently covered.

Await thanks for helping a fellow singleton also not get sunburn on their back.

It’s well easy to do your own back. Well I can and depends on how flexible you are. I’m not talking about sun lotion as I don’t need it on my back as I’m dark but just lotion in general. Been to many countries on my own and it’s fun laying in the sun.

You don’t need sun cream on your back when you’re laying on it

the abyss

Just get a spray and leave it to soak in a little - the oil ones won't be obvious on skin like smearing cream. But they will ruin white clothes m so don't wear white unless you've showered it off

Buy a little roller brush from B&Q and spray it with oil.

I get nice old ladies to do it for me when I go away alone. They take pity on the pale as new milk redhead because I’m clearly at risk of combusting in the sun

I like the word slather or lather. Sounds somewhat erotic
