Woman has cockroach removed from her vagina....

The unnamed patient went to a clinic in Honduras and complained of feeling "extremely restless, agitated and sweaty" and said that she had been unable to sleep the previous night because it felt like sometimes "extremely strange" was in her vagina.

Medics took a closer look and were gobsmacked when an examination revealed that the dead insect was inside her private parts.

The cockroach was immediately removed and the woman was discharged after being checked over for injuries.

Doctors who treated the woman in Tegucigalpa were "very anxious" when they spotted the critter as it was the first time they have had to deal with such an incident.

Dr. Marco Calix - a gynaecologist who cared for the patient - said: "(The woman) said she had something unusual in her vagina.

When I introduced the speculum, I could see that it was an insect. In fact, I had to take out something like a cockroach."

Blimey

Mistaken identity. The cockroach thought that it was eating a decaying fajita not a senorita

"I was going to give a credit to Tom, but nah "

Tom is obviously slacking of if he's not reported this. He's usually quite quick on the animal news stories.

He’s still figuring out where the village of Honduras is, if it’s outside the SE it takes him a while.

Interesting to learn that although cockroaches are thought to be capable of surviving nuclear radiation, they will die in other hostile environments.
