I've read advice before about investing in a decent human hair wig. Unfortunately that sort of price range is beyond a lot of us.

On the previous thread some were asking about size 9 shoes. I'm a size 9 and I have found eBay to be a good source for these. Bought 4 pairs last month.

Next and New Look also do size 9 shoes at reasonable prices.

I recently spent a little more and bought an Amore wig from Rene Paris. Really pleased with it and the best I have had so far. For me it was worth the extra spend.

Some really good YouTube videos on the specific brand models too with people reviewing styles and colour ways. I bought in the end from ValentinesWigs as prices was really competitive

I buy a brand of wigs called Sleek they sell for £25 - 30 great value for money, I’ve bought off eBay before they look great on photos but often are rubbish quality, I’d rather buy from a proper shop

Koi and I think lamoda do some great looking shoes and boots up to a 9 or 10. I have a pair of koi thigh boots in an 8 and they are quite stretchy so I can squeeze into them even though I'm usually a 9 or 10.

Hopefully a lovely guy is taking me away to a hotel for the night soon. Just need a free weekend evening. Also looking at going my first social, a picnic around June time. Going to be brave and go dressed.

Very sweet but I also make a policy of staying out of politics on here. It was just a bit shit to hear that Daily Wire type ideology is much more prevalent than I thought. I had to challenge because - hopefully - someone I disagree with reflects on their views.

Jesus, just read the trans war thread

Now while I'll admit I'm an old dinosaur and the trans community was fairly foreign to me until a few years ago the vehemence against people's right to just be themselves is shocking.

A friend of mine of 20+ years transitioned a few years ago, I'll admit it took me a bit longer to get my noggin round it than I'd have liked in an ideal world but they knew I'd known them as X for years and the change to Y was just mostly what had always gone before. But, they had patience, they chided me once in good nature and now, now they are just Y.

Sometimes just patience and love for your fellow human beings works wonders.

I think I posted once earlier on but then stayed out of it.

All I know and need to know is that the people around me , my friends, family and my specialists (for my chronic illness nothing to do with transitioning) have shown me nothing but love and support.

There will always be some who try and invalidate who I am for whatever latest headline makes them feel they can but their opinion has as much effect on how I live my life as a single drop of rain does in an ocean.

Luckily those kind of people are in the minority in my experience in the real world so for some reason they feel the need to shout the loudest but I do often wonder what would they think if they had a son/daughter who was Transgender and had someone saying some of the things they say to them.

Anyway.......first post here so hello!

I tried for about a year before admiting I need to transition in a better managed way and switched to medically supervised pharmaecutical treatment.

When I was using supplements I was getting my PM from Ainterol. I tried Mobu for a time but their PM was junk.

As for wig i just got a emmor/esmee brand i think, but really it is a haircube brand one from amazon. and for the price it is very good quality compared to the one i had previously. they have plenty of styles and colour to choose from.

I need to learn to cut the bang/fringe on it, as it can get a bit in the way when pleasuring men

Some tend to hang low over the eyes once they are seated comfortably so have snipped the fringe and i had a long one that got knotted up and had a goo hack at that, Had nothing to lose so thought go for it. Turned out ok

I bought the proper wig conditioner and spray to wash mine. lot better then using conditioner

Little tips, which probably are just common sense lol but try to keep your fingers straight or use a small tooth comb and cut longer than where you want the fringe to sit. With wigs, the hair still finds its way to ping up making it look shorter and you end up with the length in the middle of your forehead.

If you want it blunt use a comb as the straight line but if you want softness, use the points of the scissors to 'cut up into' the length. If you really are adventurous and brave and want softness/layers, think of your head as an orange. The segments, divide a'segment' and hold it out 90 degrees taut between your fingers and cut into the section to create a feathered look.

In peason shopping I hate waiting eagerly for clothes to be delivered only to get disappointed and have to return them because they don't fit. In a real shop it is far easier to exclude all the things with way to short a torso etc and just try on stuff that has sone potential of looking reasonable on.

After applying foundation/concealer let it sit for a couple of minutes then take 1 ply of tissue and gently press over face (wrap it over your beauty blender if you use one). This soaks up any residue oils from the product and helps it last longer.

Follow with your usual powder/rest of makeup/setting spray.

If you find you get oily during the day or your foundation starts to separate there are two tricks you can do when applying your foundation.

1. spray face with setting spray before foundation and again after rest of makeup. this creates a setting spray 'sandwich' preventing oils breaking through for longer.

2. dot foundation over face but before blending spray face with setting spray. This mixes the two together again preventing oils breaking through/breaking up your foundation.

I get all my tricks and techniques from Wayne Goss youtube channel. He is full of tips for all kinds of makeup looks and results.

I've used Veet and similar products, but only on my legs. Find it great if you haven't shaved in a while. After that though it's back to shaving for me.

I think there are plenty of tgirls who would like their man to be manly, while they would like to properly be treated as a woman. There's nothing wrong with that, and I don't think it's uncommon.

You maybe right with your last point. But for me its a mental barrier. When I dress, I become like a different person. In my male mode, when am with a woman or a tgirl, I get excited and desire them like a man.

But as Julie i am totally submissive and don't even get an erection.

Also even with the top, versatile, bottom filters you will get guys in the wrong category. They have it on Fabguys and so many dressers, wannabe bottoms in the top category. Although I know dressers can be top.

Absolutely understand that, I am the same, in guy mode I’m always going to be vers but in when dressed I’m very much bottom and sub (though I’m actually sub with women too in any mode).

I keep smooth all the time.

I just shave once a week (just before a night out!) And make sure I have a proper skincare routine, including exfoliating and moisturising. Sorted

Alternatively I'd suggest looking at laser treatment.

Find it way less itchy on regrowth and if you get it done regularly there is finer hair regrowth.

If you go down this route, 2 paracetamol about 1 hour before and 2 ibuprofen 30 mins before helps with the sting and any red/rash issues.

Shower products containg tea tree are also good - for post hair removal self care.

Regarding blocking eyebrows, what's everyone's preferred technique?

I tried using pritt stick and concealer and I was never really happy with the result, my eyeshadow never colour's properly over the concealer if that makes sense? I tend to use nyx camo concealer then paint them on with tattoo brow (which is excellent) but I'd like to take it to the next level. I do trim them but shaping them isn't an option for me.
