I love a woman who wears a makeup. It really looks good. They stand out and look stunning. So ladies What is your favourite step in makeup routine?

Using highlighter so satisfying as it massively elevates the whole look xx

I look better without make up.

Also, I'm lazy.

Skin prep is most important because it looks shit without it.

My favourite is eyeliner though I love dramatic eyes

I don't wear lots because I don't know what I'm doing with anything except the basics . Mascara is the important bit though

The step I do religiously is curling my eyelashes. If I'm feeling out there, I'll put eyeliner on.

That's it.

I much prefer to spend time and money on skincare products instead.

Also, no matter how tired you are, remove all of your makeup before you go to bed.

Multi coloured eyeliner is probably my defining feature. My make up doesn't take long though, there aren't multiple layers like I see on tutorials these days

I love applying eye make up … it’s what really makes the difference …. still experimenting with different styles

It's infuriating Gloria. They swear down that it's them and they've mastered the craft and then when you get to the meet, they look like a pork scratching

Eyeshadow. Greatest creative outlet. (Also, wearing a respirator in public, it's the only bit that really matters )

+1 for a good highlighter. But for me it’s brows, getting them right pulls the whole look together.

I am not keen on over the top makeup. I don't know if it's the application or what, but it can look cheap and unattractive, IMO.

The girls on the apprentice, for example, were putting matte foundation on in the mornings that was a totally different colour to their neck.

If its an office/shopping day then mascara, eyeliner and lippy.

For out out, it's the full works but not OTT. no foundation in summer unless my complexion is patchy

Oh aaaaaall of it. All of it! I’ve always loved make up. We weren’t allowed make up when we were kids (rightly) but my liberal aunt and older cousin let me do whatever I wanted when I went to stay in the summertimes, it was fantastic. I’ve always felt that it’s another art form, and some can do the most incredible things with the right blending and shading. Love it

I used to love doing my makeup and was quite good at it but lack of effort since COVID means I'm completely out of practice. Also the crepe under eye skin is a nightmare to do

I didn’t see this, before, Cede! The under eye skin issue is a nightmare, isn’t it? I try drinking loads of water, moisturising eye patches, all that guff, but really I just need to accept I’m getting oooooold!

For me, make-up has to be matched to the occasion. For work and going to Tesco, minimal is appropriate.

However for a sexy meet, I always say, find your "inner drag queen"!

Tinted moisturiser with spf and mascara, takes me about 2-3 minutes on average, I may put a bit of lipstick on when going out but usually don’t bother haha
