Disagree .we are having a great time , more energetic and more adventurous sex.
More free time to ourselves as the kids have grown up
Doing more and more daft things , channel swim being one on the list for when we are ready , it just goes on . |

We are having great fun in our forties. As said in previous posts the kids don't take much looking after now so we have more time to ourselves now.

I'm 47 and in the last seven years I've moved four times, retrained in a new profession, been divorced, remarried and had two more children.
Feels like I'm setting up franchises everywhere.  |

Life would be a bit sad if we all just hung around killing time till we were 40 in the belief thats when life begins."
Most of us don't, but it's yet another way of passing the time, making small talk, having a crack, you know, general spice of life stuff. What would really be sad is if we all did and said nothing that didn't have some preset purpose. |

Bit deep this not like me but here goes!
Life begins when your born, its what you do with your life and the choices you make, that make life good or bad or even go downhill.
Every year is different, enjoy your life what ever your circumstances good or bad and recognise that " were there is a negative there is always a positive and vice versa" And it will just get better and better.

I'm 42, it's the meaning of life, the universe and everything. Apart from instantly starting to go grey on my 40th, I feel no different to 37 and a half which was a good time, except I'm more confident and more aware and more interested in sex. |

No! Statistically its the mid point in life but its a good thing to say to people who have pretty much failed in their first 40 years. |

All we can say is it's been a hell of a ride since 40. We've done more, seen more, and had a lot more fun. We've accomplished more in ten years than we did the first 40. |
