Depends how you mean.
Threads take on a life of their own, they need to be herded and wrangled to keep them as close to the original path as much as possible. You can't just let them wander off.
Some people take over with endless flirting or smoke blowing up each other that longer had anything to do with the OP, the post then just fills up with the back and forth, with any serious reply lost between them. |
