If you care to watch the videos online about USA sovereign citizens in a variety of courtrooms, it is apparent that they are fanatics who have,in legal parlance, grabbed the wrong end of the stick.
One gets the impression that they are all reading from the same distorted script, the nuances of which they do not properly understand; dogmatism and parroting their puppet masters is their modus operandi.
US judges have clearly been well-briefed how to counter their nonsensical arguments, and disrespect to the Bench. |

I used to know someone who believed that English law was originally based on maritime law and therefore any deviation from maritime law ( anything not specifically related to ships and sailors) was not valid.
He also believed that he was exempt from paying tax because the authorities could not explain who or where “tax” was. |

"Love watching a good old sovereign citizen fail clip.
Usually ends up with them in cuffs or being tazed while mumbling about their rights. "
One guy got shot by the police, going for a gun during a traffic stop. Not sure if he was going to fire it, or give it to the cops. |

They are just operating under common law not statuary law, legislative forms, rules of the governed.
Ie : homosexuality was illegal in the UK and the usa for the governed by the use of legislation.
Under common law it has always has and will be lawful.
That is the difference.
Is it not I think therefore I am.
