People at large have endless capacity to disappoint, but I think it all comes down to expectation. If we expect, in whatever walk of life and circumstance, higher/better/more than someone is prepared to give, we’ll be disappointed. But that’s not necessarily on them. |

If you're always reaching for more rather than enjoying what's there then yes, disappointment is inevitable.
If you take life for what it is and set reasonable expectations then it's entirely possible to be satisfied |
