Puerile innuendo isn’t amusing. But “Regardless” and “Screaming” are in my Fenella Fielding collection.

I like some of them, they are like a snapshot of a world from many years ago. Smutty postcard humour in a way and so typically British.

For anyone who likes a bit of innuendo, look up Julian and Sandy.

They are two characters played by Hugh Paddick and Kenneth Williams in a radio show called Round The Horne.

They where made in a time of saucy postcards and an almost innocence with a touch of crudity! The double entendres.

Just takes me back to a time when I was young and innocent.

Even though I know most of the punchlines. They still make me laugh.

Jacques and Simms had a reputation for not saying "no". Hatts put it about relentlessly, and Simms even got herself fired from Carry On Cruising for screwing one of the chippies.

Yeah, it's rarely played, as it can't be put on in the usual family-friendly timeslot, and it's just horrible to begin with. When it finally premiered on UK TV (20 years after it was made), Barbara Windsor watched it, and apparently cried at how far the series fell before it was axed. But when you have Carry On stalwart Kenneth Connor saying that he "goes down" on women, it's just too blatant to be charming.

Carry On Columbus (1992) was also awful, but at least it had a few of the original cast showing a touch of class, even if was horribly cheap and the script was really crap.
