They where made in a time of saucy postcards and an almost innocence with a touch of crudity! The double entendres.
Just takes me back to a time when I was young and innocent.
Even though I know most of the punchlines. They still make me laugh. |

Would not say no "
Jacques and Simms had a reputation for not saying "no". Hatts put it about relentlessly, and Simms even got herself fired from Carry On Cruising for screwing one of the chippies. |

"One they don’t often put on is Carry on Emanuel think it was one of the last ones "
Yeah, it's rarely played, as it can't be put on in the usual family-friendly timeslot, and it's just horrible to begin with. When it finally premiered on UK TV (20 years after it was made), Barbara Windsor watched it, and apparently cried at how far the series fell before it was axed. But when you have Carry On stalwart Kenneth Connor saying that he "goes down" on women, it's just too blatant to be charming.
Carry On Columbus (1992) was also awful, but at least it had a few of the original cast showing a touch of class, even if was horribly cheap and the script was really crap. |

Carry on loving is a brilliant one, especially when Terry Scott goes to house for first meet with the lady abd her family absolutely class so funny. The poor woman who played miss grubb think name was passed so early in life |
