I like that I'm at a place I honestly couldn't give a shit if a guy likes me or not...they generally don't!
I don't crave attention, I don't need compliments to make me feel good.

Jen (me), you may have made a lot of mistakes in life, you may have hurt people close to you and not realized it, but you have a big heart and you mean well, despite your flaws.
In all the time you have occupied this body, you have overcome many hardships, you have been homeless more than once, have struggled to make ends meet through many parts of your adult life. You have faced adversity through the consequences of your actions but have kept picking yourself up and moving forward with your life.
Even in your darkest moment in your life, when you were near death, still bearing the marks from that dark moment, you immediately picked yourself back up and stood firm, looking towards the future instead of dwelling on those negative emotions and traumatizing experiences.
You are your own superhero, keep on fighting. |

This thread was inspired by a fabber saying some nice things to me earlier today that I struggled to accept. Another fabber persuaded me to repeat the nice things that had been said to me, and you know what ... I felt good.
