Pardon my ignorance if already been said but what’s preventing the eating of said curry?
I remember craving Chinese like crazy when stuck in hospital eating the low salt low fat shit they serve up |

My stomach is preventing me from eating onions, garlic, wheat, dairy...basically, everything tasty
I'm supposed to follow a low FODMAP diet. |

"Oh Nanna... this sucks!
I can completely relate and I shall therefore not have a curry in solidarity "
Oh please have one, and tell me all about the deliciousness and aromas, so I can live the moment through you. |

I'm supposed to follow a low FODMAP diet." My sister can't eat onion and garlic either. When she was over here last week she found an Indian restaurant that cooks without them. Apparently its a type of traditional cooking. That was in london |

A Hindu work colleague said they aren't allowed to eat onion or garlic because they get them all flustered and aroused, apparently, making them lose focus on priorities. |

Nanna, try using asafoetida for replacement onion flavour. It's FODMAP proof. Make a spice mix of usual curry spices, include a bit of asafoetida and coat the meat, then marinade and later, cook slowly. Use lactose free cream/soya cream or yoghurt if you want a creamy sauce. It can be done! |

I have that in my spice cupboard already. I have to be careful still with lactose free cream and yoghurt as some ingredients aren't low fodmap.
Since having my gallbladder out I can't eat much fat either.

"It's called saatvic cuisine I've just asked my sister
Thank you. I'll look it up.
I've just realised I should be able to eat a small portion of rice. "
Rice is low FODMAP. And there are lots of curries that don't involve any kind of cream or yoghurt and so should be okay |

"I could murder a curry
What's your favourite curry?
If I had to choose I'd go with a lamb rogan.
"
Lamb Rogan Josh is my favourite, with a Keema Naan. Not had one in ages. |

Hopefully I can convert my son, so I don't have to cook two meals every night |

"Also, you can get gluten free naan breads and poppadoms should be gluten free by design (lentil flour). "
Gluten free breads aren't all low fodmap, unfortunately.
I get away with a slice or a wrap every now and then. I get a little stomach pain but I can deal with that.
I'd eat cheese on toast every day if I could. |

I blame dehydration."
I have one liver spot on my hand
And might have uncovered the first grey hair - there's debate over grey vs extremely blonde! |
