"I've yet to work out what a dad's bod is.
"
I always think it’s an excuse for letting yourself go. I’m a dad. I’m in my fifties. I work full time but I have, through maintaining a healthy lifestyle, managed to stay lean and fit. |

I'll never understand the term dad bod. Just don't get what being a dad has to do with a body type. I understand how a woman's body is affected by carrying around, growing and nourishing a child for 9+ months , then either being sliced open or pushing a baby out of a vagina. Then the breastfeeding and the pressure to get back in shape then the sagging all that causes.
My little rant on a little hearted thread ha |

Me too , but a while back I was dating an extremely gym for woman too who admitted actually she preferred my mates dad bod, he’s huge with a lager belly too. I used to tease her and we’d laugh but the glint in her eye when I mentioned it was clear she found his body extremely sexy |

I'd say its it refers to guys who spend more time at home than being active
As for why some woman like it I'm guessing some who are not gym fit or stick thin might not feel as relaxed around a ripped guy as they would with a guy whos not in the bester shape. Jusg my guess work |

Yeah, not really. I'm fat. My husband is very slim. I've never had an issue with being naked around him, or frankly anyone else, for that matter. I'm not especially body confident, but I don't really care whether someone "approves" of my "mum bod" or not. I'm firm on the top, soft in the middle and daft in the head |
