I will be thinking of the reasons we celebrate Easter and will also celebrate Easter in the Gregorian calendar for Western Christians which this weekend and Easter Monday.Next week is the Easter in the Julian calendar which is for Orthodox and I will celebrate that as well as I am Orthodox.I will have a Easter egg on both Easter Sunday that way I hope I am not upsetting one calendar over the other.Xristos Aensti as we say Christ has risen "Risen? | |||

"I knew this was going to get controversial! I think that the reason people are replying negatively is because the original post is preachy. Most people are not religious and don't believe in gods. I think it better that if religious people want to preach, that's fine, do it in your own time and place, but not on a forum which isn't for religious proclamations. The op made an observation in his own time on his own post.... It's like many say if a person doesn't like something can just pass by "I don't care what people believe so long as they don't try to force it on others, some people think what I follow is very much out there but, if you post on a public forum, you are inviting comments which might reflect opposing opinions, especialy when it comes to faith and polotics. It's not one persons forum and when someone post, they have made it public. This is part of the freedom of expression we have.
