Chinese Takeaway near you

This is just a hypothetical question:

Say your current Employer offers you 3 months worth of your full pay today in cash, but the catch was you had to resign immediately!

Would you take the money and go?

(Don’t over analyse the small details, just go with the question lol

I'm self-employed, so no. Also, am I giving myself 3 months off because I'm awesome and deserve a 3 month holiday, or am I trying to get rid of myself due to a poor work ethic and shoddy performance?

I did a few years back. What the poor sods didn't know was I had my letter of resignation ready to hand in that afternoon and was starting a new job three weeks later.

I had a nice holiday and changed my car.

Would you get a different job in same sector or something completely different?

Same sector, thinking of leaving mine anyway so redundancy would be pretty sweet! It would never happen though :/

Sure as I have few ideas to set up something myself to be self employed so a change could be a wise decision

Oh and my pay is crap, I don't do it for the money. So 3 months is barely an incentive.

I've also had a nice payraise and I have a permanent set hours contract which is rare in my industry
