Judging by the 200 odd people I'll serve today at work, yes, some people still do have Sunday roasts.
It was always a tradition when I lived at home, and according to my sister still is. Now I've moved out I've broken that tradition, but still enjoy one occasionally. |

It also ensures that the kids sit down properly to one meal a week and eat lots of veggies too
Today's going to be roast beef and Yourkshire puds (home made of course !) |

We normally do , I (Mr J) enjoy cooking and a roast is one of the easiest .
Problem is we still have not replaced our cooker so it's boiled ham today .
Seen a nice Stoves 60cm advertised on TV at Euronics and may go for that one . |

Hate them with a passion. it's not the food so much it's the ritual of the same thing every sunday as It was when I was a child. the house constantly steamed up as it was more often than not raining and the house stunk of veg all day. then there was the washing up when my parents seemed to use every single thing in the kitchen. I would sooner have a pot noodle than put up with that these days |

Very rare I do a roast dinner...not even at Christmas. My little one and I are having pork chops, broccoli cheese and sauted potatoes for dinner this evening.
Mum has asked if we would like to go over for roast lamb next Sunday...hell yes! |
