Once More With Feeling is one of the best episodes of anything, anywhere. My family can quote it. We watch it several times a year. Lol.
I notice other shows have tried it, but none get it right the way they did on Buffy. |

I love the Season 5 opener - Buffy vs Dracula. It's a perfect homage to all those Hammet Horror classics, with a Buffy overlay of humour. They even achieved the feel of the hokey Hammer sets. |

The season 4 closer - Restless - is also an amazingly detailed episode with nuanced references and foreshadowing. It also achieves something that's - to my mind - seldom done properly on the screen; it captures that weird flow from one disconnected scene to another that you experience in dreams. It's an outstanding episode.
There are so many in Buffy.

I’ve been watching this tread for a while and thinking of my favourite episode but can’t pick one
All the best ones have already been mentioned, I would definitely rate hush up there in the top 10
I’ve watched it too many times over the years and now can ‘watch’ the whole series by listening podcast style with just an earphone, handy while cleaning the house and not fancying music |

That's kind of where we are with it, too. My very dear late wife used to have it on in the background, as a soundtrack to her day. She infused our daughter and I with it too. |

The Body is just so visceral, it rips your heart from your chest. I've never seen an episode of anything like it.
Hush is brilliant too, very brave to create a mostly silent episode.
Once More With Feeling is alright, not a favourite of mine. But I do respond to everyone who says they have a theory with 'it must be bunnies' |

The body is an absolute crusher of an episode.
I loved the arc where Willow became Dark Willow. She was no longer the goofy one who's good with magic. Like now she's an actual world ending threat. |

A couple of years ago, there was a chart of the "100 Best Musicals" on MTV (if I remember correctly) ... obviously the list wat topped by the likes of Grease and Rocky Horror, unexpectedly thought was Buffy coming in at Number TEN  |

The best other attempt at it that I've seen was Psych! They even had Barry Bostwick in it! Very humorous, but still not a patch on Buffy.

Not to get away from the Buffydom, but I have to say: I loved Psych's Twin Peaks ripoff episode! They got so many of the original cast! I'm a huge fan if Twin Peaks.

It's my husband's favourite show. I bought him the box set years ago. I love that he didn't get the Holes episode and I did. I had to show him the film. But the Clue episode is his favourite |

can't remember what episode as not watched it in years but the one where spike is tied to a chair and the spirits of Indian warriors attack the house.
Buffy tries a spell but changes one of the attackers into a bear.and the following exchange is one I remember as a classic laugh out loud:
Spike:A bear!You made a Bear!
Buffy: I didn't mean too..
Spike: Undo it! Undo it!
Currently rewatching Lucifer...brilliant from start to finish. |

Brilliant humour. Spike ends up looking like a pincushion tied to his chair with arrows sticking out of him.
Xander gets cursed with gonorrhea. They referenced it in "Once More With Feeling" - "His penis got diseases from the Shumash tribe".

I remember more of it now...especially him being hit by an arrow and saying 'Oi!Watch the heart!' and when he is rattling around on the chair in the background and falls over LOL. |
