Theres a news item about Virgin having issues with the network and they're trying to fix. It's very annoying.

Lifes departure lounge NN9 Northamptonshire East not West MidlandsMidlands

Been hit and miss all day and still the same now, even affected my Virgin landline.

Will see what tomorrow brings.

On the plus side my car passed its M O T test with no advisories.

Multiple sites accordingly to Down Detector. With that amount of outages across so many systems (and they can't all be using the Virginmedia infrastructure) one can infer either a Core Outage at somewhere like Telehouse, or sustained and repeated attacks on numerous UK networks, DoS attacks, etc by coordinated 3rd parties.

Sadly there are some parts of Northamptonshire where it is not possible to get a mobile phone signal and I have the misfortune to live in one

Normally it's a good thing when a virgin goes down on you. Not today though.

I was fine as I had enough films and series to watch while the internet was down.

There has been a huge blocking of websites from virgin media.

20+ streaming sites was blocked and it all started at midnight the other night.
