Nice to see that going out my way to make sure your mint matchmaker stock it high goes unnoticed

I had to actually think about this ... my daughter's graduation was the last time I undoubtedly felt special for numerous reasons. I'll truly treasure that day (heart) |

I got spoiled rotten by my partner at the weekend and it was absolutely lovely. Almost felt guilty about how special he made it for me.
But mostly, I feel special every day. It's rare I go longer than that without someone I care about doing or saying something that reminds me that I'm special to them as well |

"I don't feel special, I am speshal
My windows need a good licking
Lick your own windows
I would but it's icy down here, learnt the last time not to "
Well you'll have to have frosty windows then. I'm very choosy about who's windows I lick |

Selective window licking is good, sometimes a pane comes attached to the windows |

I felt special this morning when my partner brought me a hot water bottle. It doesn't have to be big things, I think it's the little things that make me feel special. Like messages, photos or videos just for me. Things that remind me I hold value to another person. I'm quite lucky in my friends are good at making me feel like I'm special. I matter.
The last time I felt the opposite of special was a couple of weekends ago - I felt disposable. Not important. I'm going to actively avoid repeating that feeling again. |

Urrgh this word!!
It bothers me and I don't know why?!
Yes, I am special. My husband wakes me every morning with a smile and a cuppa! Sometimes more!
He shows me daily how much I mean to him by doing everything in his power to provide and support me and our children.
The kids are amazing at making me feel special, always.
I hope I make those I love feel loved and appreciated.
Special is a word I'm trying to get my head around?! |

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon |
I'm made to feel special every day by one person. He makes time for me and goes out of his way to make sure I know how important I am to him.
And yet others still make me feel disposable. Go figure |

I feel special, loved and cherished every day. Whenever a loved one gives me their time and attention, a smile, a conversation, those are all precious moments unique to us and our relationship. There are also times when I feel small, expendable, worthless, when I forget to focus on the positive connections in life, but they're always there if I choose to see them.

The same, I gave someone the power to make me feel not special or unworthy, but a lesson learned. I'm getting back to feeling special and enjoying the beauty to life again. Makes me appreciate family, friends and work and how they make me feel special again. |

The little things do make a big difference. It doesn’t have to be a big gesture. Just something that just means they wanted to make you smile.
