I do that and I always get some left overs in the fridge and what I sometimes do with them is to make casserole type of dish or a soup depending what it is, or I just boil it up together in a tasty mix of it |

Nope because I plan my weekly shop such that I'll never have leftovers unless I'm deliberately cooking a two-person meal for myself, then I'll have one portion for dinner and the other portion the next morning or afternoon. |

I run a household with zero food waste policy and have been for years.
However, I am excellent cook so don't need google to tell me what I can do with leftovers or tired veg in the fridge.

Everything gets used in our place. Luckily, we have a big enough fridge to put leftovers before working out what to do with them for another meal.
That my husband is Scots-Jewish on his mother's side might throw some light on his ability to squeeze a quid 'til the Queen's eyes water. |
