Many area's of the Midlands have been reporting snow for the last hour, hopefully it should start moving S/SE over the course of the day, and as the temperatures drop (as they are starting to now) it should turn progressively more to snow (I say hopefully as then it will hit the SW, i.e. ME!  )
The main event is forecast for next week however - Mon-Wed with most areas of the UK seeing some snow |

We were forecast snow; intially sunday, yesterday it said more Monday night so no doubt by tonight it will be tuesday-wednesday before it snows.
I hate the snow, I live at the top of a hill, rural so no; gritters do not know we live here

started snowing here at about 7.45am, was quite heavy but didnt last long so hadnt setttled, then started snowing a bit lighter around 10am |

Wearing a path in the floor will be worth it if it does snows, because if it snows down there we will eventually get it up here! So much better than the boring weather reports that are constantly wrong!

They way they ave been banging on you would think Armageddon was on its way!!
'Its going to get cold'...really!!..in January!??..who would have thought that??..most unexpected
'The country will be blanketed with snow, ranging from 1cm 10cm'...and there was us worrying about the end of the world in 2012!...nearly an inch of snow in some places, oh no, how will we survive!!??...
That said, half an inch will ensure half the schools in the UK will close..so the teachers must be rubbing their hands together!..a nice lay in on Monday morning instead of risking life and limb driving to work in an inch of snow
These reports started with 'possibly' -15..then -8 now around -4...I guess its a good way to kick start the retail food industry with some panic buying..

I went for a shower and missed about 40 minutes of snow. Went for a ciggie and caught about 5 mins before it stopped
The radar's intensified though and showing a band over Cardiff heading this way. Met Office has upgraded in the last few minutes from sleet to heavy snow for 9pm - 12 midnight.
No early night for me tonight then #lampostwatching! |

It's been snowing steadily here for a couple of hours. My boy wants to build a snowman and a snowdog tomorrow so hope enough falls.
