Mine have gone down hill, luckily I managed to pull out before it was too late. I only wanted to put a bit in but the whole thing ended up in my coffee.
Thank my lucky stars the coffee wasn't still really hot because I managed to retrieve my hobnob without complete disaster |

"Hob Nobs are crafty little beggars. I'm a fan of a toast crust dipped in my tea. It does leave crumbs in the cup though "
I've never thought to dip toast in my tea or coffee, that's a bit different |

"Hob Nobs are actually sawdust mixed with golden syrup. That is a truefact because I saw it on YouTube with a scientist and everything
Were they wearing a white lab coat?"
Yes and they advised me to 'do my research' and 'prove them wrong'.
It seems the incontrovertible proof is that you never see excess sawdust in the vicinity of a hob nob factory and that nobody has ever explained where all the left over sawdust goes.
I'm convinced |

"You’re dunking the wrong biscuit.
Bourbon cremes only "
I'm usually ok no matter what I dip but my fingers failed to acknowledge I was holding something, you'd think they'd be a custom to it by now |

"If you sunk a hobnob, you must have been dipping it for AAAAAAAAAGES. Schoolboy error
No my fingers lost the ability to grip, was a couple of seconds
Wear marigolds next time, for extra grip "
I really don't the this is a good look |

"If it falls right in, its game over I'm afraid, can't be drinking the dregs I'm afraid
I'm a animal, I pulled out within a few seconds so will still drink it all"
That's fine but if it gets away and falls to the bottom the soggy mess ain't going in me. |

Well saved, OP. Focus on that positive rather than your mis-timed dip.
My issue has been dripping rather than dipping. I have a speculoos each morning in bed, and recently coffee dripped off the biscuit and onto my sheet before it reached my mouth. Very disappointed as I must have been over-zealous with my dip. Amateur mistake. |

Always hold the biscuit over your drink until it's in your mouth, top tip of the day |

"This whole thread has made me terribly uncomfortable
Bits of biscuits in your brew is just not it
Just don't drink the bit at the bottom, it doesn't float around "
But it changes the whole taste |
