Siren had a double length pillow as a bump supporter when she was pregnant but I've commandeered it for the spare room for when I sleep in there (a screaming baby at 2am is not condusive to a good night's sleep). Under that is two feather pillows, and on top is one foam pillow that I've had for years (it's minging but I wouldn't be without it, Siren hates it and wants to chuck it out)

Does it match your minging dressing gown

No, lol, I've had a new one since then, but it's now as equally minging as the one you saw.

I miss my pillows soooooo much!

Woke up with a stiff neck this morning. I've got three but they're all so flat they're not even the equivalent of one of my lovely plump down pillows.

I only have pillows and duvets filled with natural materials such as feather and down. Can't stand synthetic ones.

Think I'm going to go for duck ones next time but can't afford to do them all in one go so will buy one a week lol

Then new duvet, then new mattress but will have to save for that one

I love a cold bedroom. Love getting all snugly and warm under the covers but feeling a chill outside of them.

It's much better when the OH is here as he is like a hot water bottle, plus I can put my freezing toes on him

.

Ikea has reasonably priced all-season duvets too, my double duck feather and down one for camping came from Ikea.

Another good place to shop is John Lewis, especially during their big sales in Dec and Jul. My double duck down all-season one came from them, and I use mainly the thicker of the two in the colder months and switch to the thinner one when it is warm.

Dunelm are great for pillows. Mine are duck and goose down and are machine washable.
