I'm sure just about all of us have been to gigs to see our favourite artists perform live. So who was your first and last gig band and date if you can remember but no tribute acts just the real deal. So here's mine :-

It was Supergrass, Madness, M People and Simply Red at Old Trafford Football Ground some time in the late 90's
Last gig was November last year, First Aid Kit at the Manchester Apollo |

"First - The Wonder Stuff (March '89)
Last - Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls (a few week ago)"
Would the Stuffies gig be the Disco King tour with Jesus Jones & Neds as support...March 24th, at The Hummingbird with the perpetually sticky carpet?
(if so, was my first Stuffies gig too ) |

I think my first was Wet Wet Wet with my mum. I was so excited when I saw Marti Pellow come on stage I burst into tears. That was at the Cardiff International Arena.
My last was either Madonna or Take That at The Millenium Stadium.
All many, many years ago now. |

If you are into classic rock bands then The Classic Rock Band are just phenomenal.
Prior to them last gigs were Guns and Roses at Tottenham on the Saturday then Rolling Stones at Hyde park on the Sunday last year.
We should re visit the gig list thread if it’s still going! |

"First gig. Dio.. mid 80's
Last in Line tour?
I saw Dio on that tour and met the band afterwards. Still have the signed program. Ronnie and Jimmy Bain are much missed."
I saw Jimmy Bain at Barbarellas in Birmingham in late 70’s when he had his band Wild Horses my mate took photos for him. |

"My first ever gig was Limp Bizkit at the MEN Arena.
My last gig was Panic at the Disco a couple of weeks ago in the same place, except it's called something else arena now."
If that's the limp biscuit gig in the late 90s where fred durst went into a sort of stage in the middle of the crowd, i was at that.
First gig -Suzy Quatro in the 80s, taken by my mum & dad.
Last gig - A guy called gerald (it was more of a electronic music masterclass, where he stopped to explain what he was doing with his equipment; i thought his music was fantastic) |

First gig - Limp Bizkit, 10 June 2001.
Last gig - I honestly can't remember! Might have been when I took my son to see Metallica in Manchester, before COVID. I've seen my son's band play too (that was last year). |
