"The stupidest thing you've ever said....
I do
I don’t think I do, because I know I’ve made some absolute howlers in the past and none are coming to mind.
What about you, OP?"
I answered "I do" has got to be my mine |

Many.
One of which was 'go on then, hit me' to an international rugby player who was seriously pissed up and was taking offence to me telling him he couldn't come in the bar I ran.
It was an interesting tale to tell the doc in A&E when he was straightening my nose.........

Oo! I’ve just remembered!!
I’m more than a little ashamed to even mention this, but….
Early in the evening down the pub years ago, and completely sober, I got confused with my space facts and argued the moon is only 100 miles from Surrey (upwards, obviously).
Every single friend knew I’d got confused and tried to correct me but I was adamant!!
What a donkey |

There was an occasion whilst driving with my kids I saw some animals in a field but couldn’t focus on them as I was driving … obviously.
I couldn’t quite make out what they were but they looked like dogs to me so I remarked on how strange it was to see a field of dogs.
…… they were cows.
My kids have never let me forget it , doh |

Someone told me to ask for the franchisee of a company which I wanted to do business with.
I walked in quite confidently and asked staff if I could have a word with the Refugee. |

I asked a person for their Christian name
of course, it's forename you are supposed to say now, I just forgot.
I was raised being asked mine... so it just rolled off my tongue before I thought about it
I think the person I was talking to was ok about it but I just wanted the ground to open up and swallow me whole. |
