Shoulda collected the stars on the sides of the boxes then,.. shouldn't ya... Lol! I think only about four were bought, the rest were ones you sent the stars off for. If memory serves, I think you had to have 21 stars for an Action Man.

I can't really think of anything that i used to love as a child, but when my son was born he had a Bumble ball that used to shake and vibrate, i used to love playing with that....

Big Trak.
I broke mine in '82-ish, and spent £35 on eBay a few years ago to buy a broken one so that I could salvage parts for mine.
I am now the proud owner of a very low mileage, fully functional vintage Big Trak. |

when i was 10, i got a SEGA Master System for Xmas.. absolutly loved the thing, and being the sad git i am, i still dig it out every now and again to have a play.

I would say bike as they used to get us everywhere and our home made gokarts.
We where the poor deprived kids that only ever played indoors when it was raining . He was usually out making dens, doing treasure hunts picnics and bike rides |

My Tressy doll (like a British Barbie). I used to spend hours dressing her up by wrapping my numerous hair ribbons around her and would make accessories like a vanity stand out of an old tissue box and round margarine tub. I once tried making a bra for her out of acorn cups - that was an unmitigated disaster!
Also, my Palm Beach bike, which I got for Christmas when I was about 11. It was second-hand and my first proper 'ladies' bike - I loved it. It opened up my world and I cycled for miles and miles on it and had some great 'Famous 5' style adventures with my friends. Those were the days! |
