What's the best and worst you have had?
I had a yummy venison burger for lunch today. The street in the City where I bought it was just full of a world of choice, with queues at every stall. I was spoilt for choice. |

In this country, the guys in Greenwich market on Sundays who do a take away roast dinner in a box - hits the spot on a cold winters day 
Abroad, I would have to say it was the Paella I had in Gorbio, France (right near the Italian border on the riviera) one night years ago when me and the ex stumbled upon a local music festival going on the week we were there. we were the only Brits in a village square with a few hundred French villagers around us all giving us drinks.... and best of all, the paella was free!
Guess who went back for seconds.....

There's a burger van that pulls up in an area of Newcastle every Friday and Saturday night. It looks completely unappealing to the sober. The d*unk people, however, appear to be drawn to it like moths to a lightbulb.
I once bought a hotdog from there and even in my d*unken state it left an aftertaste I can only assume would be similar to rimming a camel.
That was definitely my worst. |

But I kinda guess the nearest description would be to say, its like pieces of stiff custard coated in breadcrumbs,,,……
But that doesn’t do it justice,,, lol |

I can't actually discribe what it tastes like or the texture for that matter,,,, !

"Chippy Alley" in Cardiff after a social.... we usually end up here at around 2-3a.m. with a pile of friends.
The place is heaving, the night is still young in these parts on an early Sunday morn' and you can see the full gammut of d*unken/angry/cheeky/silly/stag/hen humanity.
The food is sometimes questionable (mysterymeat kebab, anyone?), but the mix of people, both in our motley group and all around us, with various members diving in and out of the various eateries for their preferred sustainence makes for a great experience, making the food almost an after-thought.  |

Slow cooked/roasted pork that is then pulled from the bones in strips. Moist and tasty - just as pork should be. |

"I had a roast beef and gravy baguette plus a roast pork and apple sauce one from a van in Sunderland. They were lovely but very messy"
Not street but M&S cafe used to offer a roast beef and yorkshire pudding baguette, with gravy for those that do the wet stuff. |

Shoulder of Pork joint, marinaded for a couple of days in a barbecue sauce then slow cooked for several hours until it can be pulled apart with a couple of forks.... |

For the life of me i cant eat n walk at the same time, now i can sit outside and have a coffee, but just cant eat sat /standing on a busy high street. |

As my sister says, we are not horses! I didn't eat standing up and outside - it was really cold today. It was too complex a burger to be eaten outside and my friend had a curry from another stall. |

I can't resist the jumbo hotdogs from our local garden centre. He has his little stall outside called Percy's Plonkers. mmmmmm want one now!
Worst was probably a noodles bar at a festival, having the shits at a festival isn't good, have you seen the state of the toilets! |
