Or seek advice from the C.A.B? Good luck with it, I am working with a few people going through the same thing. For the genuine ones the system is a joke!

Yeap, I totally agree with you! My sister has a few peoblems just now and don't get me wrong, she has led us to believe she was getting all this help when she hasn't!, It now transpires she has a court hearing next month with the risk of having her flat re-processed.

Everyone is entitled to an hour's free legal advise if you look around, you just need to find someone that specialises in whatever your situation is

You can make application for the hearing to be adjourned on the basis that your representative is no longer available, it may not suceed but it is worth a try.

You should try contacting CAB or DIAL for help

Go to your local CAB...They probably wont go to the hearing with you but they will set out all the papers,,,I have attended a tribunal with a friend and its just a load of awkward questions,,,the doctor will ask you about your day and what you do ,how far you can walk etc...as mentioned above, its a bloody joke for the genuine people but unfortunately they are taking almost everone off ESA and making them appeal,if you lose then you just get moved to JSA...Its a joke and all about department targets

Fraud for disability benefits is less than 0.5% which pretty much makes anyone on a disiility benefit genuine.
